  1. This user sells EV chargers to commercial customers, who generate revenue when their customers use their chargers.

The installer wants to be able to model projected revenue for their customers on their Solargraf proposals.

Approx formula could be: Is anyone working on integrating EV chargers into SG? Had a customer ask about showing revenue from these for a commercial project

They said a simple formula could be:

Number of chargers * $ per charge * number of charges per day per charger * 365 / 12 = monthly revenue

Should impact ROI / payback and display in monthly breakdown

  3. Add Contract Signed Date.

As some homeowners provide a wet signature rather than Docusign, we need to be able to enter the Contract Signed Date and the Cancel Contract Expiry Date and have these data elements stored in the database.

Also, make these data elements available in Document Templates as a Placeholder.

  6. Sensitive project page dropdown tabs make it hard to navigate through the tab system. Oversensitive tabs disappear with miniscule movements around them making tab system not user friendly. Make tab system less sensitive.

  7. We have several utilities who pay out for overproduction each month. It would be great to have the option to show the customer their actual costs per month on average for the year to simplify sales. Ex: ON AVERAGE through the course of the year, the customer has a bill of $100/month. ON AVERAGE they produce $150 worth of solar/month (net metering at retail rate). ON AVERAGE, their bill is a negative $50 (-$50) each month indicating that the utility is paying them $50 each month. Every other proposal tool I have used does it that way and it is…

  12. I have been using Aurora, and so far, I've found Aurora requires far fewer tweaks to designs because it incorporates some obvious logic that Solargraf does not. Some examples:

Like two roof planes that share the same peak will generally have the same pitch and edge lengths. That should be a starting point, not something you have to adjust manually.

Two adjacent roof planes will automatically have a "wall" between them.

Two roof planes that share the same peak won't both face the same direction.

It just seems like this was designed backwards.

  13. See summary of the user's request on the attached screenshot.

User would like the solar energy disclosure document put on to every PDF download for CA as it is against the law to not have this on the proposal.
There are 3 things that finance companies and California Law requires to be present on page 1, these are the things we are missing and need on page 1.
    Home Improvement P1
    Date signed P1 Not Present
Label of Address for Cancellation P1 Not Present

"Label of Address for Cancellation" is this custom section he added to his proposal. He's saying…

  14. Currently, when we receive a Docusign envelope back, we don't see project ID's or Finance data. We would like to add Project ID's and finance data to the data being sent and returned through the Docusign integration so that info appears on my CRM.

  15. There's no way for Solargraf to offer engineering plans when the ones doing the plans are from out of the country. How is it possible that the plans we've submitted to the Building Department keep on getting rejected for minimal things that an engineer from the state SHOULD KNOW. But obviously they don't know because they are overseas. What a waste of time and money with you guys to do the plans we need. It's been months since we've been trying o get these permits approved and they keep on getting denied. Would love to get our money back so…

  18. It would be nice for the AI roof outline tool to be able to self correct alignments. For example, I will have multiple roofs on a property all coming in at a SLIGHTLY different angle. It would be nice if the AI had an option, similar to the wizard tool, to clean up azimuths and align them when they are within a certain degree of eachother. It would also be nice in this clean-up option to have roof lines automatically be perpendicular to the ridge line if they are within a certain margin of degrees of that ridge line.
