Proposal version history
Proposal version history:
Currently, when a rep reprices a project in Solargraf, the previous pricing is overwritten with no way to recover it. The customer is requesting the ability to view prior versions of a proposal, so that if pricing changes over time, users can go back and see what was originally quoted. For example: a client is quoted in February, a new rep takes over and reprices the project in April, and the client asks about the original price. Today there is no way to retrieve that earlier quote. A version history feature would preserve a snapshot of each…

Add signature trail / verification for web proposal signatures
PG&E is requiring some form of signature verification or audit trail. Currently, they are sending separate DocuSign contracts because DocuSign provides a detailed signature certificate / audit trail.
They are asking if Solargraf can provide similar documentation (e.g., timestamp, IP address, signature certificate, or downloadable audit record) to validate customer signatures for compliance purposes.
Without a signature verification trail, users may need to rely on third-party tools like DocuSign to meet utility requirements, creating additional steps in their workflow.

Display the importable financial options within the "edit proposal" screen
Instead of having to go into the "financial options" menu on the overview page of the project to import products, client would like there to be a drop down within the "edit proposal" menu that displays the financial options available and products that can be imported. Says that reps regularly forget that they first need to import them via the financial options menu. They go straight to the "edit proposal" button.

Ability to "Hide" or make "Private" a Discount from the proposal
I want the ability to hide a PPA discount in the same way we can hide extra costs as a line item. This is due to PPA lender Participate energy needing it hidden from the proposal.

As an installer, I would like to be able to convert a design option from System expansion back to New system.
Currently, an option can be changed from New system → System expansion, but this change is one-way. Once an option is set as a System expansion, it cannot be converted back to New system from within the project.
Allowing bidirectional conversion would reduce rework and confusion.

As an installer, I would like the PDF proposal to include the same detailed information that is available in the web quote.
Currently, the web quote displays additional details in the monthly breakdown (via pop-up views) that are not included in the PDF version. Including this information—such as production exported—would ensure consistency between the web and PDF proposals and reduce the need for follow-up explanations or manual documentation.

Allow PDF compression for proposal downloads
Installers would like the ability to compress the PDF file size when downloading proposal documents.
New proposal PDFs are larger than classic templates, which can make it difficult to send proposals in bulk or meet email size limits.

Add EV charging–only project type for proposals
Installers would like the ability to create EV charging–only project types when generating proposals.
This would support projects that do not include solar or battery systems and avoid workarounds when proposing EV charger installations.
