Feature request: Ability to switch project type between residential and commercial
It would be highly beneficial to have the ability to convert or duplicate a project between residential and commercial types within Solargraf.
If a user mistakenly builds out a design under the wrong project type (e.g., residential instead of commercial), there is currently no way to switch or transfer the work without starting over. This results in lost time and duplicated effort.
We recommend adding functionality that allows users to:
Convert an existing project from residential to commercial (and vice versa).
Or, duplicate the project into the correct type while preserving all design elements, consumption data, and production estimates.
This would streamline workflows and reduce friction when correcting project setup errors.
