Cash Discount
Cash Discount-- New changes--that limit only 1 loan option on web quote
We already have a cash discount ...but we like to offer customers several loan options for instance some customers want lowest payment usually a 25 yrs term while others willing to pay more per month to pay off quickly .. while I have noted we could save pdfs of other loan options this will make it more difficult to compare loan options side by side .. they likely will then start printing out pdf's get pages mixed up .. --because there are also equipment package options as well ... Why Solar Graf just leave it up to us .. ok with having a cash discount .. now let us contractors give customers a choice .. on loan options and allow customers easy comparison..

Dealer Fee Loans with $0 dealer fee Negative dealer fee Markup
So most loans have a dealer fee --we have to markup price to account for this fee ...if customer pays cash .. cash discount . However there are some loans that have $0 dealer fees in such case we would like to offer a negative markup so price is same as cash ... Currently SG does not allow a negative number on dealer fee markup... also there is no way to give a discount for just one loan option and not others ... -

I liked the addition of the "cash discount", it improved transparency for the customer. My only suggestion would be to allow more than one financing option to be viewed at a time in a quote. Saving PDFs of each financing option was a lot of extra work. Thank you!

With the legal issue of the lending partners you have connected, and their not wanting dealers to show a cash price lower than the finance price, allow for the dealer to choose what price options show on the proposal when sent.
IE, I should be able to send the proposal with only the finance option showing, and add in a feature to show a "discount" for a cash purchase option. This will eliminate the issue dealers are having with lenders when they offer a cash price that is lower than their finance price based on dealer fees.
