Customer Agreement
A static copy of the proposal as it was when it was signed. This will allow you to make changes to the project (add costs, adjust statement of work) without impacting what your customer sees, while maintaining a record for both parties as to what was agreed when the proposal was signed.
2 votesWhen an e-signature is captured on the web version of the proposal, we will now save a copy of this known as the Agreement.
This now allows you to make changes to the project’s Cost & Pricing Summary after a proposal has been signed, while maintaining a record of what was signed.
Look out for the OPEN AGREEMENT button at the top of the Job Details page!

Filter job searches using the client's name
An existing client would love the ability to filter his searches (Job's) using his clients names rather than having to remember which is the property address to search off of that.
1 voteThe ability to search projects by client name on the Jobs page has been restored.
We apologize for the inconvenience this issue caused – thanks for your patience!

Automatic Snap on Points
When I am trying to draw the roof the line wants to snap to a point, I assume based on the roof being square. The problem is that as long as we are using pictures to draw the lines the roofs will never be square do the angle from which the picture is taken, but it usually works out in the averages.
PROBLEM:
Sometimes I can not put the point where I want it because the automatic snap won't let me.
SOLUTION:
1) Give me the ability to turn off the automatic positioning.
2) Let me get closer to the…1 voteYou can now disable the “Snap-to” feature on the drawing tool by holding the shift key on your keyboard.
This will allow you to place points exactly where you need them, not just at 90 degree angles to other points.
Please note that this function is only supported on desktop for now. We will look to implement something similar for mobile drawing.

If ever you Clear All by accident, you can undo to recover your drawing.

Identify penetrations in the drawing tool
This feature would allow you to identify "penetrations" such as a chimney or skylight from the drawing tool.
This would exclude those sections from the SQ count, and help Liz to identify Apron & Step flashings automatically.
As a later improvement, Ice & Water could also be applied automatically at the perimeter of these penetrations.
1 voteYou can now identify a surface as a penetration.
Trace out the perimeter of the penetration, then select Define Penetration and choose from skylight, chimney or “other penetration”.
This data will display on the roof report PDF

blue print measuring uploading blueprint
is there anyway to upload an image and measure it? for example blueprints
There are a lot of programs for measuring blue prints, but I have not found any that are roof specific
I dont see it being too hard to make that available on roofgraf since most of the tech is already there, instead you'll measure an uploaded image instead of a satellite image1 voteThis functionality is currently supported.
When creating a new roof report, after entering the project location, you’ll see an Adjust Your Image window appear.
From here, select the “Upload my own imagery” option.
We support PNG or JPEG, with a maximum file size of 20 MB.
Once you’ve uploaded the image file, select Measure Myself to proceed to the measuring tool. From there, trace the lines of the roof as normal, then use the Edit Length tool to scale the image.
Be sure to enter the length of an eave or ridge, so that the pitch does not affect the scaling.
Please be advised that Liz will not work in these cases, you will need to enter the pitch and identify the line types manually.

Catalog Change
The catalog says price when it actually is our cost .. price to us is what we charge customer .. cost is what we pay for material or labor
1 voteWe have now updated all forms used to configure material, labor and other costs in the catalog. These changes will soon be implemented in the SmartQuote template estimating feature.
With the new forms, you’ll be asked for the Cost of each item – once a cost is added to a template, you can define the profit margin to be added.

Title PDF proposal on signed jobs as "Contract" rather than "Estimate"

1 voteWhen a job is listed as “Won” (either by electronically signing the proposal or manually updating the job status), the PDF proposal will now be titled “Contract” as opposed to “Estimate”

Deliver updates in a "What's New?" messaging tab (similar to online banking portals)
This user would like to receive notifications of updates to the Roofgraf service in a "What's New?" messaging tab, perhaps under Support or on the Home page.
This will allow him to digest information about changes and improvements to the tool in a non-intrusive way.
2 votesWe have recently launched a new Help Center.
You can find this by clicking on the ? icon in the bottom-left corner of the page.
Here, you’ll see a tab for Product Updates. Most updates will land here from now on.
From time to time, we may publish Announcements on the homepage if we feel these require immediate attention.
Hoping this process will be less intrusive moving forward!

Overhead is now considered when estimating with a SmartQuote template.
Initially, we only support Overhead as a $ amount – a flat rate per project.
Later, we will allow you to model overhead as a Per SQ value, proportionate to the size of the job.
You can define Overhead from the Pricing tab with the Template Editor, or when editing an offer.
Keep in mind that your profit margin will be applied to your Overhead!

Edit SOW directly on proposal
I would like a way to easily add and edit production notes directly on the proposal
3 votesThis functionality is now supported. By selecting the Edit button next to the Statement of Work on the web version of the proposal, you can now add a new line item, delete or edit an existing line item, and re-order line items to your liking. These changes are reflected on the Job Details page and the PDF proposal.
