Catalog Change
The catalog says price when it actually is our cost .. price to us is what we charge customer .. cost is what we pay for material or labor
1 voteWe have now updated all forms used to configure material, labor and other costs in the catalog. These changes will soon be implemented in the SmartQuote template estimating feature.
With the new forms, you’ll be asked for the Cost of each item – once a cost is added to a template, you can define the profit margin to be added.

Overhead is now considered when estimating with a SmartQuote template.
Initially, we only support Overhead as a $ amount – a flat rate per project.
Later, we will allow you to model overhead as a Per SQ value, proportionate to the size of the job.
You can define Overhead from the Pricing tab with the Template Editor, or when editing an offer.
Keep in mind that your profit margin will be applied to your Overhead!

Define waste factor on drawing tool
This user would like to define the waste factor from the drawing tool. It is easiest to identify the required waste factor whilst looking at the roof. This will also save him from having to manually adjust the waste factor on each of his Good / Better / Best proposals.

Specify where we apply Starter Shingles
This feature would allow Roofgraf users to specify where they put Starter Shingles (eaves, rakes and/or valleys), rather than automatically applying this material to all 3 areas of the roof.

Edit name of item from Template Editor
When editing an existing item in the template, we are able to change the coverage, price and SoW but not the name.
Currently we need to remove the item and re-create the item.
This would accelerate the tailoring / onboarding process.
1 voteYou can edit the name of a cost (material, labor or other cost) when editing a template or an offer (an offer is defined as the application of a template to a project).
Hoping this helps!
